Professor Nguyen T.K Thanh awarded the Thomas Graham Lecture 2023 by the SCI/RSC

Professor Nguyen T.K Thanh, professor of nanomaterials at the University College London, was recently awarded a prestigious Thomas Graham Prize by the Royal Society of Chemistry/ Society of Chemical Industry. This award aims at recognising mid-career researchers who have established an international reputation in colloid science or have made distinguished contribution to the field. The prize is named in honour of the Scottish chemist who is known for the “Graham’s Law”, pioneer of the colloid chemistry and founder of the Chemical Society of London. At the award ceremony and International Colloids and Interface Science Symposium in Liverpool between 17-19 July 2023, Professor Nguyen T.K. Thanh gave a lecture on “Plasmonic and Magnetic nanoparticles for Biomedical Application” to over 400 scientists from around the world. Professor Nguyen T.K. Thanh is also a recipient of multiple highly prestigious prizes, including the 2019 Rosalin Franklin award from the Royal Society.
