The VIS Awards is an initiative organised by the Vietnamese Intellectual Society (VIS), aiming to recognise and celebrate individuals who have demonstrated outstanding contributions in research, innovation, and community engagement. It seeks not only to recognise achievement, but also to inspire continued excellence and engagement within the VIS community. Through this initiative, applicants are given the opportunity to showcase their work, gain formal recognition, and connect with a wider network of academics and professionals.
The VIS Awards comprises two main categories: Outstanding Research & Innovation and Community Engagement. Each category includes two prizes (£250 each):
- Early career researcher prize: Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree holders or PhD degree holders within 8 years of graduation
- All-stage career researchers prize: Open to individuals at any career stage with outstanding contributions to research or innovation; No age or experience restrictions
