VIS Mentorship and Talent Development Programme

For Mentees

The VIS Mentorship and Talent Development Programme is intended for PhD candidates and earlier-career researchers (within 5 years of PhD graduation). We aim to help the mentees to improve their skills to succeed in

  • your PhD and scholarship applications,
  • finding suitable universities and PhD supervisors
  • writing and publishing research articles in world-renowned international journals and book series

Each mentee will be connected to a dedicated VIS UK & Ireland mentor, who will provide support to prepare for their research proposal and application, for up to 9 months until the participant is accepted to a university in the UK or Ireland. In particular, VIS is also ready to advise and support the candidates and university from the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training’s Project 89.
