Distinguished members of the Vietnamese Intellectual Society (VIS) came together at the iconic British Museum on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 to commemorate Vietnam’s 78th National Day and the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the United Kingdom. The event was organised by the Embassy of Vietnam in the UK.
The evening’s celebrations were a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, as the guests celebrated not only the achievements of the past but also looked forward to a future marked by continued cooperation and cultural enrichment.
The role and contribution of the Vietnamese Intellectual Society in strengthening Vietnam-UK relations in science and education are acknowledged in the Special Edition of ‘The Diplomat’ Magazine.
