Workshop 1: Publishing Your Research Outputs

This is the first workshop in a series of events designed for the mentees of the ‘VIS-British Council Mentoring Programme’. The online workshop aims to help mentees make plans for publications and develop academic writing skills. The workshop will be delivered by a group of mentors who have published their research outputs internationally, and they have also been experienced editors and/or reviewers for various journals in different disciplines. The mentees will have the opportunity to actively engage in a breakout session to discuss specific skills with other fellows and exchange ideas with the mentors. For this breakout session, each mentee is asked to bring along an abstract of a published paper or a draft, preferably of their own work. If not, please choose an abstract that you wish to discuss with other fellows and mentors during the breakout session.
