Recap – VIS Welcomes MOET Delegation to London for Dialogue on UK-Viet Nam Postgraduate Training Collaboration

🤝 The Vietnamese Intellectual Society in the UK and Ireland (VIS) was honoured to welcome representatives from the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), for a productive and forward-looking discussion in London.

📘 Discussions focused on the implementation of Decision 1002/QĐ-TTg by the Prime Minister on developing high-quality human resources in science and technology for the period 2025-2035, with a vision towards 2045.

💡 Participants emphasised the need for breakthrough and innovative approaches in developing talent training programmes, strengthening postgraduate education, and fostering closer collaboration between Vietnamese and UK higher education institutions.

🤝 VIS reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with MOET through consultation, academic collaboration, and expert engagement to support the effective implementation of the programme in the years ahead.

🌏 The meeting provided an open and constructive platform for exchanging ideas and exploring future collaborations between the Vietnamese academic community overseas and stakeholders in Viet Nam.
